If I open my DS Pokemon game on the same system, it runs fine. So the issue is the Nintendo DS Lite itself. I've also tested them on my original Nintendo DS console (which has a broken top screen, and so can't be used for my purposes, but still plays GBA games just fine), and they worked there as well. But I've tested them on a GameBoy Advanced system, and they work fine there. My first assumption was that the games themselves were broken or corrupted in some way. But if I clicked the game, it would play the GameBoy animation, and then turn white and do nothing else, not letting me play the game. If I took out the cartridge and blew on it, then it would read that the game was inserted. It started by saying that a DS Option Pack was inserted. The system worked fine for the first few days, but now it's stopped reading my GBA game packs. For that I needed a DS console with slots for both GBA and DS games. I have some GBA Pokemon games with old data on them, and I want to transfer that data up to more recent games. I recently bought a used Nintendo DS Lite.
